I got this as a gift for a friend, it was just a birthday card for him. He loved it so much that it is now framed in his apartment. Steve's shop was a warm stop on a rainy day in New Orleans. I could have spent hours looking around and enjoying brilliant conversations with the man himself.

Hey there kiddies! Just a quick word to let you know how cool Steve's pics are (Like you couldn't tell from eye-balling them!). He has tons of great shots but the ones I am drawn to are the ones like this one of Joe running in the London Marathon. There is something very special about seeing these "icons" in a more candid setting. Yes, WE KNOW they are all just regular people beneath it all (Kill your idols! and all that). Still, there is something warm and extra human about his subjects in this kind of setting. Lemmy larking about in the old days is a gem as well. OK, that's it for me. It was such a treat to see all of the rock and roll photos taken by Steve Rapport at his gallery in the Rockaway Center in Pacifica. It is more than a gallery, photos and prints are available for sale at very reasonable prices. I got the coolest Joni Mitchell photo, she is of course smoking a cigarette and standing at the mic looking sharp in a men's style striped suit. It brings back memories of the 70's such a bold, wild time when anything was possible and the music was so great.
