I've been a fan of Steve's photography for a long time. I celebrated my grad school graduation with the purchase of one of Steve's Joe Strummer marathon prints and was graciously gifted another so chose a Fun Boy Three photo. Finally framed them today and they look fabulous! Cannot wait to have more wall space to fill with more of Steve's images! And next time I'm in New Orleans I look forward to visiting his gallery. A million thanks to Steve for the photos and the eye for photographing and sharing his stories of photographing these great musicians.

Joe Strummer : London Marathon #2

I was so happy to receive this beautiful book which was posted and arrived really quickly. The photos beautifully capture the early days of the band’s career, a must-have for any Bunnymen fan. Also came with a separate personalised signed card which was a lovely added touch - thank you!

Great shots and nicely packaged

Dee Dee Ramone

Steve’s images capture the soul of his subjects. No glamour shots. These photos evoke the spirits of each one’s personality. If a picture speaks a thousand words, this collection is a novel as thick as “War and Peace”!

Customer photo review of Freddie Mercury : Radio Ga Ga : Live Aid

Thank you so much for this beautiful pic. The print quality is excellent. And I love the grain of the old film. It's a joy to look at every day.

Freddie Mercury : Radio Ga Ga : Live Aid

My wish was to capture Paul Hewson ("Bono") in the era of the "War" album as Bono was on a crusade to do good for the World with his bandmates at his side. @steverapport captured the innocence and urgency of Bono during this era that will always be dear to me for the strength that Bono's lyrics and singing bring to the fantastic contributions of the entire band. Steve Rapport has such a warm and easy way about him that creating iconic Rock and Roll art must come second nature to him artistically and personally. Thank you, Steve for producing the PERFECT photo. Mark Bronsky, New York, NY

Bono

Having had the honor and pleasure of hosting U2 at our Trinity College (Hartford, CT) Spring weekend in 1983 just after the "War" album came out, I was searching for a picture of David Evans ("The Edge") from that time period. The Edge is my favorite guitarist of all time--he has invented his own sound that has morphed over the decades. The magnificent photographer, @steverapport captured a young and quiet/calm Edge who did his speaking with his guitar, piano, and singing. Steve Rapport created a gorgeous photo for us and cropped it to perfection. Steve ROCKS! Mark Bronsky, New York, NY

The Edge U2

My goal in looking for U2 photographs from their early days was to capture the essence of what the band members were like at that time and to be able to see in their expressions what they wanted to become. The image of Larry Mullen, Jr. evoked his explosive (and sometimes militaristic) power of his inventive drumming. This photo is part of a series purchased from @steverapport of the four band members that Steve cropped to perfection. Steve is incredibly talented and warm. He is a Rock Star in his own right. I am thrilled by my experience ordering a photo print from Steve. I had been nervous about ordering photo prints on line as you don't know who you are dealing with or what the quality will be. I wanted something special and Steve delivered with fast responses, a very personal touch, and a high quality product. Andrew, Sydney Australia.

Customer photo review of Less Is More: The Photography of Steve Rapport

My family and I LOVE this collection of iconic musicians captured by the one and only, Steve Rapport! The "Mostly Rock n Roll" photographer's keen eye complements his back stage access. If you love 80's and 90's rock, you'll find many of your artists in here. I know we did!

Customer photo review of Bruce Springsteen

My daughter Rae and I happened upon your store whilst eating lunch across the road. I love photographs of musicians. In fact, I refer to my hallway as the rock and roll hall of fame. I was supposed to see Bruce here in Austin, however I was sick. Hopefully he will still be touring! Thanks for the great photo! See you next time at the Jazz Festival!

Bruce Springsteen

This is the coolest and best photos of The Clash ever!!! So raw and beautifully shot. Such a deep and intimate look into Joe and The Clash. I’m a huge fan of The Clash and as soon as I saw Steve’s gallery in New Orleans I was excited. Steve was so nice and took his time to tell me about each photo and the story behind it. Absolute gentleman. Definitely will have to go there again. Please show your support and buy a book or a print because it is 100% worth it!

I had a great experience at your shop thanks again Steve it was a bright spot in my day

note cards #1: rock 'n' roll

The experience of Steve's shop in New Orleans was amazing! He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about bands etc (even recognising the silhouette of the U2 band member on my T-shirt! - not Bono!) and happy to talk about his experiences. If money were no object I'd have happily sent lots more the prints are so unique and fantastic! Definitely visit the shop if you're in New Orleans and if not, take my word you can buy online with confidence as the prints will never disappoint!

note cards #4: live aid boxed set (signed)

Steve is very personable on his instagram account. He has obviously worked as a photographer at the time that was very impressionable for me in my teenage years. I really enjoy his posts and his art. If I can afford it, I’ll buy it. This picture of Grace is even more impressive that it’s from A View To A Kill. -Ava Darling IG.

Grace Jones

We enjoyed visiting the gallery and were thrilled to find Steve there, he was so engaging and interesting to chat with. The gallery is full of beautiful images of both New Oleans and iconic musicians priced in such a way that there is something for everyone.

Such an honor to meet this gentleman, whilst walking down New Orleans St. on the way to dinner. His photos are impeccable and beautiful, and they took me back to my teenage years.
